羅密歐與茱麗葉  Romeo and Juliet

Words and Music by Ashin

And I have no spectacular back story, and have no wealthy, grateful or resentful background
But in two people’s eyes and heart, the world is overturning

And there starts always a bit of revelry, and I wait downstairs outside your home
Consequently, I blurt out a sentence:  I can’t be without you

I’ve sung one interlude after another, endless travels on my pillow
I’ve already started to forget, a little, the original reasons why

There’s a sort of fanaticism that makes me fall ill, a magnificent and happy illness
Open my eyes and can’t see anything, yeah…

Actually it’s a trick of Shakespeare, the story’s finale is not two lover’s suicide
Trapped outside a fairy tale, where will you and I go

And love has always been a sort of test, which can swallow up all your passion and curiosity
God has given man a few small bits of sweetness, and trucks full of dilemmas

There’s a sort of fanaticism that makes me fall ill, a magnificent and happy illness
Open my eyes and can’t see anything, yeah…

There’s a whirlpool that makes us hide away, the real world holds what kind of provocations
Close my eyes yet I can see you, yeah….

I really want the world to disappear quickly, let us two enjoy no tomorrows
Even if it’s only a hallucination that vanishes in a flash, Romeo and Juliet
